Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mark Suhanov took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Surgut's Danila Padalkin got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Severodvinsk getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Leonid Tkachevskiy hit a great ball. Ippolit Lihachev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saveliy Burov having to interfere. Igor Netesov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Suhanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. If Borislav Samarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Severodvinsk's goalkeeper Igor Netesov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Severodvinsk got a freekick which was hit by Vladislav Uhov. After recieving a nice pass, Surgut's Filimon Asov tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Sergey Stebakov came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Surgut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergey Stebakov couldn't finish the play. When Surgut's Mark Suhanov in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Severodvinsk's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Igor Netesov managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Surgut's Sergey Stebakov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute of the match, Mark Suhanov tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Igor Netesov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sergey Stebakov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Igor Netesov made a huge save. After having played for 47 minutes, Sergey Stebakov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surgut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergey Stebakov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Borislav Samarin made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Borislav Samarin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saveliy Burov, 0-1. Sergey Stebakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Severodvinsk getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Vladislav Uhov hit a great ball. When Ippolit Lihachev in the 74th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Saveliy Burov kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Borislav Samarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saveliy Burov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Timofey Tegarpev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saveliy Burov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Surgut's Saveliy Burov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Surgut from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Nikolay Artamov from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Saveliy Burov's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ippolit Lihachev was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Severodvinsk's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Borislav Samarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Severodvinsk eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
