Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Potap Dyadkovskiy kicked off to start the match. When Potap Dyadkovskiy came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ulyanovsk HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Potap Dyadkovskiy couldn't finish the play. After 7 played minutes Kovrov FC got a freekick which was hit by Timofey Uvadev. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Egorov in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grigoriy Shamshurin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ulyanovsk HC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Arkadiy Nikishin hit a great ball. Marat Sychev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Frolov, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Kovrov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Potap Dyadkovskiy came free, but Grigoriy Shamshurin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kovrov FC's Semen Sitchihin got a free kick in the 31st minute. Grigoriy Shamshurin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Potap Dyadkovskiy's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A collision led to Kovrov FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Semen Sitchihin hit a great ball. In the 48th match minute, Kovrov FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Semen Sitchihin to maneuver through the defense.

A hard shot 56 in the game by Igor Egorov from a close distance when the talented Grigoriy Shamshurin managed to make a qualified save. Kovrov FC's players were relieved. Marat Sychev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lev Stanchev in the 61st minute of play. Marat Sychev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lev Stanchev in the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Igor Egorov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulyanovsk HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Egorov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grigoriy Shamshurin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Egorov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigoriy Shamshurin having to interfere. When Igor Egorov came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ulyanovsk HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Egorov couldn't finish the play. Potap Dyadkovskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Grigoriy Shamshurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Timofey Uvadev fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kovrov FC's protests and gave Timofey Uvadev a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ulyanovsk HC booed when Kovrov FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timofey Uvadev didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Potap Dyadkovskiy came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ulyanovsk HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Potap Dyadkovskiy couldn't finish the play. Igor Egorov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Grigoriy Shamshurin made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ulyanovsk HC's David Dubov got a free kick in the 88th minute. Kovrov FC's Grigoriy Shamshurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Potap Dyadkovskiy in the 96th minute of play. Lev Stanchev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Marat Sychev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ulyanovsk HC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
