Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ulyanovsk's Egor Shashkov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Severodvinsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Matvey Guschin. Denis Myshkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egor Shashkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksandr Mordyukov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Myshkov having to interfere. Denis Myshkov was a little too slow when Egor Shashkov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Denis Myshkov didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. If Aleksandr Mordyukov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Myshkov was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Egor Shashkov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Egor Shashkov really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. When Ulyanovsk's Aleksandr Mordyukov, in the 29th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ulyanovsk. Denis Myshkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egor Shashkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aleksandr Mordyukov came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Ulyanovsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksandr Mordyukov couldn't finish the play. Denis Myshkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egor Shashkov in the 43rd minute of the match. Egor Shashkov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Myshkov having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stepan Panfilov to make the kick off. Grigoriy Malafeev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stepan Panfilov in the 53rd minute of the match. Ulyanovsk's Egor Shashkov got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Egor Shashkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Myshkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egor Shashkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Aleksandr Mordyukov fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ulyanovsk's protests and gave Aleksandr Mordyukov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ulyanovsk getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Aleksandr Mordyukov hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Severodvinsk FC's Stepan Panfilov got a free kick in the 69th minute. Rudolf Sekachev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Grigoriy Malafeev made a huge save. Egor Shashkov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Myshkov having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Ulyanovsk's goal looked a bit too open when Stepan Panfilov came free, but Grigoriy Malafeev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigoriy Malafeev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rudolf Sekachev in the 90th minute. Efrem Kapustin hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Stepan Panfilov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulyanovsk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
