After a defensive mix-up in Prokopyevsk FC's zone, Timur Bobylev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kliment Bystrov came out of the goal and Timur Bobylev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aleksandr Veselov kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Aleksandr Veselov was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 6 minutes had been played. After 8 played minutes Prokopyevsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Aleksandr Veselov. The supporters of Prokopyevsk FC booed when Mezhdurechensk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikhail Gnedtsov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mezhdurechensk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kazemir Kushashnikov came free, but Vikentiy Shvedov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuriy Skovorodkin charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuriy Skovorodkin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Prokopyevsk FC's Yuriy Skovorodkin got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marat Dubrov in the 29th minute of play forced Prokopyevsk FC's goalkeeper Kliment Bystrov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mikhail Gnedtsov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikhail Gnedtsov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Kliment Bystrov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kazemir Kushashnikov was the one to do the kick off. Kazemir Kushashnikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vikentiy Shvedov having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Timur Bobylev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazemir Kushashnikov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vikentiy Shvedov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mezhdurechensk FC's Mikhail Gnedtsov got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 61 played minutes Prokopyevsk FC got a freekick which was hit by Yuriy Blinov. When Andrey Pokorskiy fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mezhdurechensk FC's protests and gave Andrey Pokorskiy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Mezhdurechensk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrey Pokorskiy to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Kazemir Kushashnikov sped through Mezhdurechensk FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vikentiy Shvedov. If Kazemir Kushashnikov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazemir Kushashnikov struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vikentiy Shvedov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prokopyevsk FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Fedor Hamzov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prokopyevsk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fedor Hamzov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vikentiy Shvedov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prokopyevsk FC's Oleg Raskolnikov got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuriy Blinov struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Vikentiy Shvedov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prokopyevsk FC. 89 minutes into the match, Mezhdurechensk FC's Mikhail Gnedtsov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kliment Bystrov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Yuriy Blinov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Mikhail Gnedtsov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
