Andrey Mashkovskiy had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Vsevolod Golubenko's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Orel FC's Vsevolod Golubenko after 26 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Seversk FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-0. Orel FC's Yuvenaliy Kerzhakov got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 45 minutes, Stepan Golovchanskih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stepan Golovchanskih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
