Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonard Bogdenko in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yakov Sychev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 18 minutes, Vladimir Turpaev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novokuybyshevsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Turpaev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Turpaev in the 20th minute of play forced Nizhny Tagil FC's goalkeeper Yakov Sychev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Nizhny Tagil FC's Sidor Tsybin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanislav Dedyushko. Stanislav Dedyushko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Vladimir Turpaev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakov Sychev having to interfere. Vladimir Turpaev struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Yakov Sychev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novokuybyshevsk. Evgeniy Ezhikov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Stanislav Dedyushko made a huge save. Innokentiy Seleznev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The audience was convinced that Sidor Tsybin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislav Dedyushko was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Yakov Sychev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Innokentiy Seleznev in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Vladimir Turpaev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergey Masalskiy hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Nizhny Tagil FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Kesaev. Vladimir Turpaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Yakov Sychev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Novokuybyshevsk were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
