Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Igor Bragin came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Grozny FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Bragin couldn't finish the play. Artem Sigalovskiy hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes, Grozny FC's Semen Dmitriev shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerasim Scherbakov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grozny FC reached it. 14 minutes into the match, Grozny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vyacheslav Kryukov came free, but Konstantin Suhinov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerasim Scherbakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinoviy Isakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zinoviy Isakov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gerasim Scherbakov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vyacheslav Kryukov got free with Konstantin Suhinov in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerasim Scherbakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinoviy Isakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Kurgan FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladislav Bilyaletdinov. Grozny FC's Oleg Afanasenkov got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viktor Dubovoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Konstantin Suhinov managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Kurgan FC's Viktor Dubovoy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Kurgan FC's goalkeeper Gerasim Scherbakov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilya Ionochkin. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Bragin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerasim Scherbakov. That made the score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. A collision led to Grozny FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ilya Ionochkin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vyacheslav Kryukov in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Konstantin Suhinov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grozny FC's goalkeeper Konstantin Suhinov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kurgan FC's Gerasim Scherbakov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Bragin in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Igor Bragin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerasim Scherbakov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Dubovoy in the 74th minute of play forced Grozny FC's goalkeeper Konstantin Suhinov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstantin Suhinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vyacheslav Kryukov in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 minutes of play, Kurgan FC's Vyacheslav Kryukov made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstantin Suhinov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 80th minute, Vyacheslav Kryukov made a precise shot to the right of Konstantin Suhinov. Grozny FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Kurgan FC's Vyacheslav Kryukov got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90th minute Igor Bragin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerasim Scherbakov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Igor Bragin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
