He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kurgan FC reached it. Vyacheslav Kryukov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Artem Chevychelov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artem Chevychelov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Dubovoy in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vyacheslav Kryukov in the 14th minute of play forced Kaluga's goalkeeper Artem Chevychelov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Viktor Dubovoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurgan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Dubovoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artem Chevychelov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Vyacheslav Kryukov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artem Chevychelov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitaliy Vityazev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Gerasim Scherbakov when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gerasim Scherbakov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitaliy Vityazev, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Filimon Lihach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerasim Scherbakov having to interfere. Gerasim Scherbakov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Vityazev in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filimon Lihach got free with Gerasim Scherbakov in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerasim Scherbakov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitaliy Vityazev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Viktor Dubovoy came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Kurgan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Dubovoy couldn't finish the play. Artem Chevychelov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Dubovoy in the 45th minute of the match.

Vyacheslav Kryukov struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Artem Chevychelov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurgan FC. Gerasim Scherbakov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitaliy Vityazev in the 55th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Kurgan FC got a freekick which was hit by Vyacheslav Karyaka. When Vitaliy Vityazev came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Kaluga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitaliy Vityazev couldn't finish the play. Kaluga's Vitaliy Vityazev got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitaliy Vityazev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute.
