The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vitaliy Vakturskiy came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Odintsovo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitaliy Vakturskiy couldn't finish the play. When Artem Kapustinskiy came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Odintsovo FC fans jumped to their feet. Gavriil Silich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Anatoliy Blinov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes, Odintsovo FC's Arseniy Kolesnikov shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evgeniy Yunk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Odintsovo FC reached it. Oleg Bobrov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Blinov having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Gavriil Silich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gavriil Silich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Anatoliy Blinov managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Chita's Dmitriy Kalugin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gavriil Silich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anatoliy Blinov having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Odintsovo FC's Vitaliy Vakturskiy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evgeniy Yunk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Chita's Evgeniy Yunk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artem Kapustinskiy in the 30th minute of play. Artem Kapustinskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Artem Kapustinskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Vitaliy Vakturskiy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Evgeniy Yunk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th match minute, Odintsovo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitaliy Vakturskiy to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitaliy Vakturskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Chita booed when Odintsovo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Bystrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anatoliy Blinov came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Chita's Dmitriy Kalugin. But to his dismay, Dmitriy Kalugin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 64 minutes into the game, Viktor Bystrov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Odintsovo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chita the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Chita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oleg Bobrov to maneuver through the defense. Evgeniy Yunk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy Vakturskiy in the 74th minute of the match. Evgeniy Yunk made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Artem Kapustinskiy sent off a good shot on target. Vitaliy Vakturskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evgeniy Yunk having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Artem Kapustinskiy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Odintsovo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 95 minutes, Gerasim Tarnovskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chita and the Odintsovo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Chita got a freekick which was hit by Gerasim Tarnovskiy. Vitaliy Vakturskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evgeniy Yunk having to interfere. The Chita supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Odintsovo FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Odintsovo FC.
