Ruslan Kerzhakov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Dmitriy Parensov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavriil Silich in the 27th minute of play. After 30 minutes, Efim Aldonin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krasnodar and the Chita players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ippolit Listovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filimon Kostyanyh stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Evgeniy Yunk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filimon Kostyanyh, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Dmitriy Kalugin let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 68th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. In the 72ndth minute of the game Gavriil Silich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Krasnodar's Dmitriy Parensov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dmitriy Kalugin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dmitriy Parensov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Gavriil Silich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dmitriy Parensov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dmitriy Parensov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavriil Silich in the 82nd minute of play. Chita's Evgeniy Yunk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ippolit Listovskiy in the 84th minute of play. Filimon Kostyanyh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evgeniy Yunk having to interfere. Ippolit Listovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
