Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Valentin Radchenko started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Radchenko in the 4th minute of play forced Ivanovo's goalkeeper Anatoliy Panarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Zenzinov hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Petr Chichelov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shahty's goalkeeper Mikhail Godein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Semen Shepelin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, Semen Shepelin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Shahty's Mikhail Godein tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Shahty's goalkeeper Mikhail Godein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shahty's Mikhail Godein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semen Shepelin in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Shahty's goal looked a bit too open when Petr Chichelov came free, but Mikhail Godein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Shahty booed when Ivanovo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danila Skvirskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Vadim Ramzin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shahty's supporters rose to their feet, but Vadim Ramzin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anatoliy Panarin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anatoliy Panarin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Shahty's Vadim Ramzin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Semen Shepelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikhail Godein having to interfere. Filipp Chyurikov kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Semen Shepelin came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ivanovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Semen Shepelin couldn't finish the play. Vadim Ramzin in the 49thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anatoliy Panarin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Semen Shepelin to make the kick off. Semen Shepelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th match minute, Shahty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipp Chyurikov to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Valentin Radchenko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Radchenko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anatoliy Panarin having to make a save. Anatoliy Panarin came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Shahty's Vadim Ramzin. But to his dismay, Vadim Ramzin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vadim Sitnikov's late challenge caught a Shahty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vadim Sitnikov helped the player get up and apologised. Vadim Sitnikov hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Shahty's Mikhail Godein got control of the ball when Petr Chichelov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oleg Udyanskiy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anatoliy Panarin. Ivanovo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Valentin Radchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Semen Shepelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vadim Ramzin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Anatoliy Panarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Radchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Shahty's Valentin Radchenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anatoliy Panarin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Shahty's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
