Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Syzran FC's Emmanuil Baisarov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sergey Dryzhakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emmanuil Baisarov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Emmanuil Baisarov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Syzran FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emmanuil Baisarov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Strelkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balashikha's Viktor Strelkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emmanuil Baisarov in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Syzran FC booed when Balashikha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavel Scherbakov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Syzran FC's goalkeeper Emmanuil Demchenko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Emmanuil Baisarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Strelkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuil Demchenko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vadim Sugatskiy in the 24th minute of play. Viktor Strelkov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gennadiy Gubanov went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 42 played minutes Syzran FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Karogopoltsev. Balashikha were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Syzran FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduard Gorozhanskiy took the corner. Denis Melnikov tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Emmanuil Demchenko. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some careless play in the Balashikha defense, Gennadiy Gubanov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Strelkov. The Balashikha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Strelkov should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Syzran FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vadim Sugatskiy came free, but Emmanuil Demchenko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Balashikha's Vadim Sugatskiy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 89 minutes into the match, Sergey Dryzhakov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanuil Demchenko. Syzran FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergey Dryzhakov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 92 minutes into the game, Syzran FC's Gennadiy Gubanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viktor Strelkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. 95 minutes into the game, Dmitriy Aguzarov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Syzran FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balashikha the free kick. After a rather tough play, Syzran FC's Dmitriy Aguzarov got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Balashikha players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Syzran FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
