Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Semen Ilyushenkov started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Syzran FC's Emmanuil Baisarov got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Emmanuil Baisarov put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vsevolod Artemev. Gennadiy Gubanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Vsevolod Artemev made a huge save. If Valeriy Hazov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Saransk's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuil Baisarov came free, but Vsevolod Artemev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Semen Ilyushenkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dmitriy Aguzarov kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Semen Ilyushenkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Semen Ilyushenkov took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emmanuil Demchenko. Emmanuil Demchenko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emmanuil Baisarov was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 61 minutes, Denis Karogopoltsev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Syzran FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Karogopoltsev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Denis Karogopoltsev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71stth minute of the game Gennadiy Gubanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saransk's Vsevolod Artemev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72 minutes, Oleg Kupreyanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saransk and the Syzran FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Saransk got a freekick which was hit by Oleg Kupreyanov. In the 77th minute Gennadiy Gubanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vsevolod Artemev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Syzran FC's goalkeeper Emmanuil Demchenko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriy Hazov. Valeriy Hazov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Emmanuil Demchenko made a huge save. Denis Karogopoltsev hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Emmanuil Baisarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vsevolod Artemev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Emmanuil Baisarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
