Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Joep Ponk made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the game, Vitaliy Vorobey threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 5th minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Hagberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joep Ponk's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Joep Ponk put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Ditlev Delmont. But to his dismay, Ditlev Delmont quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Joep Ponk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manolo Bartumeu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Seco to maneuver through the defense. Joep Ponk did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso 23 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Ágætis Byrjun's Manolo Bartumeu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Manolo Bartumeu. But to his dismay, Manolo Bartumeu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. A hard shot 38 in the game by Joep Ponk from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joep Ponk in the 39th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Manolo Bartumeu took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. In the 59th minute, Joep Ponk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ágætis Byrjun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joep Ponk in the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joep Ponk in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Joep Ponk sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Ágætis Byrjun's Gert van den Bergh was substituted for Joep Ponk. Ágætis Byrjun's Gitano Rubiero was substituted for Manolo Bartumeu. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Heesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ditlev Delmont in the 76th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 11-1 when Nick Heesen sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nick Heesen went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-1 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. In the 88th minute, Ladislao Cordarius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ágætis Byrjun's Nick Heesen. But to his dismay, Nick Heesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-1. In the 93rd minute, Nick Heesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-1. When the referee ended the match the Ágætis Byrjun players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
