In the 6th minute Zinoviy Mastafov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Smolskiy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. German Aleksandrov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. German Aleksandrov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artem Fedorov having to make a save. In the 19th minute German Aleksandrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artem Fedorov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artem Fedorov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Aleksandrov in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Georgiy Shkvarkin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novokuybyshevsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Georgiy Shkvarkin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lev Smolskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aleksey Sanachev hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Artem Fedorov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Aleksandrov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Aleksandrov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Artem Fedorov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipp Ivashentsov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artem Fedorov having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Zinoviy Mastafov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. German Aleksandrov struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Artem Fedorov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angarsk. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zinoviy Mastafov to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zinoviy Mastafov in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lev Smolskiy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Angarsk's goalkeeper Lev Smolskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zinoviy Mastafov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lev Smolskiy having to make a save. Lev Smolskiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinoviy Mastafov in the 58th minute of play. Artem Fedorov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Aleksandrov in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Angarsk's goal looked a bit too open when Zinoviy Mastafov came free, but Lev Smolskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Zinoviy Mastafov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Georgiy Shkvarkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lev Smolskiy having to interfere. Filipp Ivashentsov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artem Fedorov having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, German Aleksandrov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angarsk's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Aleksandrov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Filipp Ivashentsov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artem Fedorov. Novokuybyshevsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipp Ivashentsov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 93 minutes into the game, Novokuybyshevsk's Zinoviy Mastafov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lev Smolskiy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Novokuybyshevsk could leave the field as winners, despite Angarsk having more of the ball for most of the match.
