Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Klim Ageichev took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ilya Goltey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vadim Karevskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Vasiliy Zuev came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Syzran fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasiliy Zuev couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Spiridon Turkovskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kovrov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Syzran the free kick. After 12 played minutes Kovrov got a freekick which was hit by Spiridon Turkovskiy. After recieving a nice pass, Syzran's Timofey Hmelnikov tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Syzran's Vasiliy Zuev got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vadim Karevskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Syzran's Andrey Samohin got control of the ball when Denis Atramov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrey Samohin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Atramov in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Vadim Karevskiy notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kovrov's Ilya Goltey. Ilya Goltey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute Klim Ageichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrey Samohin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vasiliy Zuev came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Syzran fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in Kovrov's zone, Vsevolod Agapov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilya Goltey came out of the goal and Vsevolod Agapov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Vyacheslav Rozhkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilya Goltey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vasiliy Zuev went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Klim Ageichev came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kovrov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klim Ageichev couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasiliy Zuev was the one to do the kick off. Vasiliy Zuev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilya Goltey came out and tried to block the shot, but Vasiliy Zuev slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 53rd minute. Ilya Goltey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vasiliy Zuev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 57 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Denis Atramov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kovrov fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. A collision led to Syzran getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Pavel Petuhov hit a great ball. Vasiliy Zuev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ilya Goltey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Vasiliy Zuev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Syzran's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
