Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kliment Izmailov took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nikita Zorchenko charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikita Zorchenko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Nikita Zorchenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kliment Izmailov in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veniamin Sitnikov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniil Shamshev succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 17 minutes, Fedor Burmistrov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Volgograd and the Kaliningrad FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Volgograd got a freekick which was hit by Fedor Burmistrov. After a rather tough play, Kaliningrad FC's Fedor Krivov got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Volgograd's Yuriy Lokotchenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Veniamin Sitnikov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sergey Alferov might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Timofey Borikov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sergey Alferov ran back to his position shaking his head. If Sergey Alferov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kliment Izmailov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Veniamin Sitnikov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Veniamin Sitnikov was a little too slow when Kliment Izmailov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-1. Vitold Nikonov hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Kliment Izmailov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Volgograd's supporters rose to their feet, but Kliment Izmailov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veniamin Sitnikov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 46 minutes, Kliment Izmailov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volgograd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kliment Izmailov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 48 minutes of play, Volgograd's Yuriy Lokotchenko made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veniamin Sitnikov was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergey Alferov was the one to do the kick off. Modest Rusetskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veniamin Sitnikov having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Yuriy Lokotchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veniamin Sitnikov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veniamin Sitnikov came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Volgograd's Kliment Izmailov. But to his dismay, Kliment Izmailov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Kliment Izmailov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Yuriy Lokotchenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th match minute, Kaliningrad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikita Zorchenko to maneuver through the defense. Yuriy Lokotchenko struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Veniamin Sitnikov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volgograd. Kaliningrad FC:s Veniamin Sitnikov showed great skill when he stopped Boris Shatalov:s penalty. Veniamin Sitnikov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuriy Lokotchenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kliment Izmailov in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veniamin Sitnikov saved Kaliningrad FC from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Yuriy Lokotchenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Volgograd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Yuriy Lokotchenko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Veniamin Sitnikov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kliment Izmailov went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. Volgograd's Kliment Izmailov got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuriy Lokotchenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veniamin Sitnikov having to interfere.
