After 4 played minutes Kirov got a freekick which was hit by Danil Kurilovich. In the 5th minute of the match Boris Taratorkin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Kraevich skillfully saved the ball. Paramon Adov's late challenge caught a Kirov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paramon Adov helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Cherkessk got a freekick which was hit by Paramon Adov. Kirov were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Cherkessk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Filipp Ilyushenko took the corner. Afanasiy Areschenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Roman Kraevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timofey Ponomarev struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mark Metlitskiy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirov. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sergey Markov during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sergey Markov hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Sergey Markov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniil Bodryashkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Roman Kraevich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Kraevich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniil Bodryashkin in the 28th minute of play. If Daniil Bodryashkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Afanasiy Areschenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Kraevich was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Daniil Bodryashkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Kraevich having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Danil Kurilovich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Kirov defense, Afanasiy Areschenko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Kraevich. The Kirov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Kraevich should have stopped the shot. When Kirov's Anton Krylov in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cherkessk's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Krylov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Anton Krylov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Krylov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 56th minute of the match Danil Kurilovich completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Danil Kurilovich a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 57 played minutes Kirov got a freekick which was hit by Danil Kurilovich. Cherkessk's Daniil Bodryashkin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Afanasiy Areschenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Kraevich having to interfere. Timofey Ponomarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mark Metlitskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Timofey Ponomarev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cherkessk were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Kirov's much stronger midfield.
