Artur Bliznyuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semen Mitryukovskiy in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Ekaterinburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolf Dubenskiy. Rasul Strazhnikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Almetyevsk booed when Ekaterinburg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksim Ozeritskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute Semen Mitryukovskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Bliznyuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Danila Zinchenko came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ekaterinburg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danila Zinchenko couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danila Zinchenko made a kick off. Elisey Yakushin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Melnikov went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Lev Eremin hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Rasul Strazhnikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elisey Yakushin having to interfere. With a little luck, Almetyevsk's Artur Bliznyuk got control of the ball when Semen Mitryukovskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danila Zinchenko in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Bliznyuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Almetyevsk had played much better football throughout.
