Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boris Samolyanov started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match Maksim Teterin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yuriy Zhiganov skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th minute, Ivan Poltavskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rostislav Semak in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuriy Zhiganov saved Noyabrsk HC from getting behind. Nalchik's Gleb Kashinskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Nalchik from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Lev Getsko made a precise shot to the right of Gleb Kashinskiy. Nalchik's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Lev Getsko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Kashinskiy having to interfere. Boris Samolyanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Kashinskiy having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valeriy Risinskiy during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Valeriy Risinskiy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gleb Kashinskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Samolyanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaroslav Vinogradov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yuriy Zhiganov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rostislav Semak in the 46th minute of play. If Georgiy Vasenin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Georgiy Vasenin to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Noyabrsk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Nikita Agalarov came free, but Yuriy Zhiganov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Rostislav Semak fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yuriy Zhiganov, passed just outside the right post. In the 63rd minute Georgiy Vasenin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuriy Zhiganov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Noyabrsk HC's Boris Samolyanov in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gleb Kashinskiy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Lev Getsko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gleb Kashinskiy having to interfere. If Rostislav Semak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rostislav Semak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Georgiy Vasenin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rostislav Semak struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Yuriy Zhiganov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nalchik. 95 minutes into the match, Noyabrsk HC's goal looked a bit too open when Georgiy Vasenin came free, but Yuriy Zhiganov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Boris Samolyanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noyabrsk HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Samolyanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nalchik players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Noyabrsk HC.
