The Salavat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Potap Yurchak should have stopped the shot. Potap Yurchak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efim Babin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Potap Yurchak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efim Babin in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Grozny booed when Salavat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arseniy Marhasin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Salavat's zone, Efim Babin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Potap Yurchak came out of the goal and Efim Babin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vissarion Samohin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Timur Gagin made a huge save. Potap Yurchak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efim Babin in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Salavat's German Kruchin got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Sergey Nikonov sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Salavat's Potap Yurchak didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Maslov in the 39th minute of play forced Salavat's goalkeeper Potap Yurchak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potap Yurchak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Maslov, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Efim Babin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Potap Yurchak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Maslov in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafim Burdonskiy was the one to do the kick off. Potap Yurchak didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Afanasiy Burenkov kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Albert Gerasimov struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Timur Gagin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salavat. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Efim Babin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grozny's supporters rose to their feet, but Efim Babin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Potap Yurchak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Boris Maslov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Salavat's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Averchenko came free, but Potap Yurchak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arseniy Kurashov hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Albert Gerasimov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timur Gagin. Grozny's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vissarion Samohin in the 75th minute of play forced Grozny's goalkeeper Timur Gagin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potap Yurchak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efim Babin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Maslov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafim Burdonskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Timur Gagin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boris Maslov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Potap Yurchak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 89 in the game by Efim Babin from a close distance when the talented Potap Yurchak managed to make a qualified save. Salavat's players were relieved. After having played for 90 minutes, Boris Maslov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grozny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boris Maslov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Kruchin charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Kruchin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Grozny booed when Salavat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Kruchin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salavat's Potap Yurchak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Salavat from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the game, Konstantin Averchenko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grozny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salavat the free kick. After 94 played minutes Grozny got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Averchenko. When the final whistle sounded Grozny left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Salavat.
