Oleg Tishkovskiy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hristofor Chernobaev's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Mikhail Menschanchukov charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikhail Menschanchukov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kiselevsk booed when Pyatigorsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikhail Menschanchukov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Vitaliy Loginov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oleg Tishkovskiy skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Pyatigorsk booed when Kiselevsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikita Turov didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Pyatigorsk's goal looked a bit too open when Hristofor Chernobaev came free, but Oleg Tishkovskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pyatigorsk's goalkeeper Oleg Tishkovskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nikita Turov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oleg Tishkovskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hristofor Chernobaev in the 25th minute of the match. Denis Haleev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Rymko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Aleksey Balabas charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 32nd minute, one of Pyatigorsk:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pyatigorsk. The referee gave Kiselevsk a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nikita Turov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pyatigorsk's Oleg Tishkovskiy. 1-1. After 37 minutes, Mark Zarubin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pyatigorsk and the Kiselevsk players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Pyatigorsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Zarubin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Feoktist Chlenov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kiselevsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Feoktist Chlenov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oleg Tishkovskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hristofor Chernobaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Oleg Tishkovskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiselevsk's Konstantin Grishko got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oleg Tishkovskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikita Turov, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Feoktist Chlenov came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Kiselevsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feoktist Chlenov couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Hristofor Chernobaev got free with Oleg Tishkovskiy in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikita Turov in the 56th minute of play forced Pyatigorsk's goalkeeper Oleg Tishkovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Hristofor Chernobaev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oleg Tishkovskiy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 61st minute, Aleksey Balabas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oleg Tishkovskiy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hristofor Chernobaev in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute Kiselevsk were awarded a corner. Nikita Turov went to the cornerflag to take it. Feoktist Chlenov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oleg Tishkovskiy having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Hristofor Chernobaev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oleg Tishkovskiy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Pyatigorsk's zone, Nikita Turov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oleg Tishkovskiy came out of the goal and Nikita Turov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudolf Belov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Oleg Tishkovskiy made a huge save. After 77 minutes of play Pyatigorsk's Aleksey Balabas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 78th match minute, Pyatigorsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksey Balabas to maneuver through the defense. Feoktist Chlenov took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oleg Tishkovskiy. Oleg Tishkovskiy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Feoktist Chlenov hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Pyatigorsk's Konstantin Zubko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Haleev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Feoktist Chlenov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
