Rustam Berlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polikarp Gnezdilov having to interfere. Irakliy Tvorozhnikov charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irakliy Tvorozhnikov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Irakliy Tvorozhnikov hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Rustam Berlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitaliy Kurdvanovskiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irakliy Tvorozhnikov, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rustam Berlov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitaliy Kurdvanovskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriy Kabanov in the 33rd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Berner to make the kick off. Rustam Berlov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polikarp Gnezdilov having to interfere. Rustam Berlov struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Polikarp Gnezdilov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Novotroitsk. 62 minutes into the match, Novotroitsk's goalkeeper Vitaliy Kurdvanovskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irakliy Tvorozhnikov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Irakliy Tvorozhnikov got free with Vitaliy Kurdvanovskiy in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Irakliy Tvorozhnikov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arzamas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Novotroitsk's Vitaliy Kurdvanovskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Novotroitsk from getting a goal against them. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
