The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kirill Artemev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Polikarp Gnezdilov having to interfere. Arzamas FC's Polikarp Gnezdilov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirill Artemev in the 8th minute of play. Kirill Artemev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Polikarp Gnezdilov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Khasaasvyurt's Mikhail Hrennikov got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boris Nekrasov kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Polikarp Gnezdilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirill Artemev in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kirill Artemev in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Polikarp Gnezdilov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Modest Mandrygin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Boris Nekrasov fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arzamas FC's protests and gave Boris Nekrasov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Boris Nekrasov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kirill Artemev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Polikarp Gnezdilov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Khasaasvyurt's Kirill Artemev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Polikarp Gnezdilov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikhail Hrennikov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirill Artemev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Kirill Artemev elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Oleg Arishin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Polikarp Gnezdilov. Arzamas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Arzamas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Khasaasvyurt were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valeriy Kabanov was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Valeriy Kabanov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arzamas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriy Kabanov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irakliy Gordeychuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Irakliy Gordeychuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irakliy Tvorozhnikov in the 55th minute of play. Arzamas FC's Polikarp Gnezdilov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Arzamas FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Khasaasvyurt's zone, Valeriy Kabanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irakliy Gordeychuk came out of the goal and Valeriy Kabanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Arzamas FC booed when Khasaasvyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timur Savin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mikhail Hrennikov got free with Polikarp Gnezdilov in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arzamas FC's Irakliy Tvorozhnikov got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danil Shanurenko's late challenge caught a Khasaasvyurt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danil Shanurenko helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Arzamas FC's Danil Shanurenko got a free kick in the 78th minute. Polikarp Gnezdilov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kirill Artemev in the 81st minute of the match. Mikhail Hrennikov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Polikarp Gnezdilov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Khasaasvyurt's Kirill Artemev got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Mikhail Hrennikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Khasaasvyurt eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
