Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gennadiy Brodskiy kicked off to start the match. Klim Afanasenkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Ryzhov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Boris Ryzhov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klim Afanasenkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Ryzhov, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Maykop's Klim Afanasenkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Ryzhov in the 14th minute of play. Klim Afanasenkov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mikhail Molchanov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Klim Afanasenkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Ryzhov, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mark Baronskiy's late challenge caught a Maykop's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Baronskiy helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chita getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mark Baronskiy hit a great ball. Ilya Chernikin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georgiy Ataev having to interfere. Gennadiy Brodskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Georgiy Ataev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gennadiy Brodskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Georgiy Ataev was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Stepan Khokhlov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chita! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Maykop. Gennadiy Brodskiy stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Georgiy Ataev. 1-1. A collision led to Maykop getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gennadiy Brodskiy hit a great ball. Mikhail Grishkevich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Mark Baronskiy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klim Afanasenkov. Maykop's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mark Baronskiy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Baronskiy was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Lutchenko during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Klim Afanasenkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Baronskiy in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gennadiy Brodskiy in the 60th minute of play forced Chita's goalkeeper Georgiy Ataev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikhail Molchanov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mikhail Grishkevich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klim Afanasenkov having to interfere. When Gennadiy Brodskiy came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Maykop fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gennadiy Brodskiy couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Chita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikhail Grishkevich to maneuver through the defense. If Ilya Chernikin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Ilya Chernikin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chita's Mikhail Grishkevich got a free kick in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikhail Grishkevich in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klim Afanasenkov saved Maykop from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Stepan Khokhlov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maykop's supporters rose to their feet, but Stepan Khokhlov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Georgiy Ataev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gennadiy Brodskiy in the 89th minute of play forced Chita's goalkeeper Georgiy Ataev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes, Boris Ryzhov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chita and the Maykop players grew even worse after the yellow card. Chita were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Maykop for a fine match.
