The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filipp Vershinin struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. The referee ignored Питерские Псы's protests and gave Vasiliy Kurbatkin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Питерские Псы was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasiliy Kurbatkin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrey Grigoriev got free with Ivan Kushalakov in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Danila Kermyakov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestr Deikin in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Filipp Vershinin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Kushalakov. Filipp Vershinin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Silvestr Deikin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danila Kermyakov having to interfere. Georgiy Flyarkovskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danila Kermyakov having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestr Deikin in the 51st minute of play forced Nazran HC's goalkeeper Danila Kermyakov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nazran HC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Silvestr Deikin scored to the left of an out of position Danila Kermyakov, making the score, 1-1. After 59 played minutes Питерские Псы got a freekick which was hit by Valeriy Belyakov. When Vasiliy Kurbatkin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Vasiliy Kurbatkin kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nazran HC's zone, Valeriy Belyakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danila Kermyakov came out of the goal and Valeriy Belyakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the match, Питерские Псы's Valeriy Belyakov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danila Kermyakov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Georgiy Flyarkovskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danila Kermyakov having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Питерские Псы's Valeriy Belyakov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Georgiy Flyarkovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Питерские Псы could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nazran HC throughout the match.
