Evgeniy Brodovoy came out and tried to block the shot, but Tudor Sălcudeanu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 21st minute. In the 31st minute, Danila Pavluhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aleksey Braga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evgeniy Brodovoy having to make a save. With a little luck, FC. Armavir's Evgeniy Brodovoy got control of the ball when Tudor Sălcudeanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, FC. Armavir's goalkeeper Evgeniy Brodovoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timur Chichko. The nice shot from Timur Chichko in the 40thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Evgeniy Brodovoy had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Armavir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georgiy Bezukhov to maneuver through the defense. Gennadiy Nazarov's late challenge caught a FC. Armavir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gennadiy Nazarov helped the player get up and apologised. Gennadiy Nazarov kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timur Chichko made a kick off. Evgeniy Brodovoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Sălcudeanu in the 51st minute of the match. Evgeniy Brodovoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Sălcudeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Gennadiy Blatun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Tudor Sălcudeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Феникс Санкт-Петербург fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Evgeniy Brodovoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timur Chichko, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The Evgeniy Brodovoy was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Gennadiy Blatun came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Феникс Санкт-Петербург fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gennadiy Blatun couldn't finish the play. Anatoliy Bogolyub received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Evgeniy Brodovoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Emmanuil Simonov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Aleksey Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Феникс Санкт-Петербург's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksey Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evgeniy Brodovoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Феникс Санкт-Петербург players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
