Novovyatich's Jan Hendrik van der Laan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viviano Baños in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Viviano Baños cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan Hendrik van der Laan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viviano Baños recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Denílson Scherer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Hendrik van der Laan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After recieving a nice pass, Novovyatich's Pavel Lytkin tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jan Hendrik van der Laan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viviano Baños went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Jan Hendrik van der Laan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhuang Ting Yuan, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Novovyatich's Jan Hendrik van der Laan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viviano Baños in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Denílson Scherer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Hendrik van der Laan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Новгород TS got a freekick which was hit by Loukas Papagiannopoulos. After 42 minutes, Vitaliy Yakushev mouthed his way into the referee's book. Novovyatich's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Igor Braginskiy ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Igor Braginskiy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Hendrik van der Laan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The wind increased when Pavel Lytkin made the kick off in the second half. Viviano Baños could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jan Hendrik van der Laan made a huge save. After having played for 56 minutes, Viviano Baños managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Новгород TS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viviano Baños was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Denílson Scherer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Новгород TS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The supporters of Novovyatich booed when Новгород TS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viviano Baños didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Hendrik van der Laan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Scherer in the 70th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Denílson Scherer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Novovyatich's Jan Hendrik van der Laan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Novovyatich booed when Новгород TS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veniamin Kulagin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pavel Lytkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Ove Frykberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Lytkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Pavel Lytkin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Novovyatich's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Scherer came free, but Jan Hendrik van der Laan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Pavel Lytkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Ove Frykberg was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. When Vitaliy Yakushev came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Novovyatich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitaliy Yakushev couldn't finish the play. The Novovyatich fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Новгород TS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
