Evgeniy Fomichev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Nikita Gudkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Levandovskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Unica FC's Cristiano Levandovskiy in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice moves Fedor Ivanchuk could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Nikita Gudkov however easily saved by the left post. The Unica FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Unica FC's Cristiano Levandovskiy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pavel Ivanteev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Igor Akinfeev. Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Unica FC's Yaromir Sharapov got a free kick in the 36th minute. Nikita Gudkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evgeniy Fomichev in the 38th minute of the match. Nikita Gudkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedor Ivanchuk in the 44th minute of play. Aybar Bayezit struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Igor Akinfeev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unica FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Evgeniy Fomichev made the kick off in the second half. Unica FC's Filipp Karyuhin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 51st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Igor Akinfeev but with some difficulty. In the 54th minute of the match Voskresensk FC got a corner. Unica FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The corner led Voskresensk FC's Evgeniy Fomichev to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikita Gudkov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute Evgeniy Fomichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikita Gudkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikita Gudkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unica FC's Konstantin Vostrikov was substituted for Artur Bezborodov. Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gennadiy Kulakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Evgeniy Fomichev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikita Gudkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Gleb Sorokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikita Gudkov having to interfere. Unica FC's Nikita Gudkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gleb Sorokin in the 86th minute of play. After some careless play in the Unica FC defense, Gleb Sorokin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikita Gudkov. The Unica FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikita Gudkov should have stopped the shot. Nikita Gudkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksim Ilyuhin in the 90th minute of play. Artur Timoshin's late challenge caught a Unica FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Timoshin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Artur Timoshin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikita Gudkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksim Ilyuhin in the 94th minute of play. Unica FC's Nikita Gudkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evgeniy Fomichev in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Voskresensk FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
