The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nil Molchanov got free with Igor Akinfeev in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Akinfeev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rossoch. 13 minutes into the match, FC Rossoch's goal looked a bit too open when Gleb Sorokin came free, but Higinio Caradaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, FC Rossoch was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Levtsov to maneuver through the defense. Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Colvin, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Yaroslav Kripak took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Igor Akinfeev. Igor Akinfeev made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Max Colvin sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Voskresensk FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arkadiy Amfiteatrov was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Rossoch's players had a chance to rest. FC Rossoch's Arkadiy Amfiteatrov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Igor Akinfeev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Max Colvin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Igor Akinfeev made a huge save. In the 41st minute of the match Vladimir Noskov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Akinfeev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Max Colvin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Igor Akinfeev 43 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evgeniy Fomichev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, FC Rossoch's Max Colvin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Akinfeev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 58 minutes Voskresensk FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arkadiy Amfiteatrov who took care of the corner kick. In the 64th minute Stepan Romm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88thth minute of the game Max Colvin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Rossoch's 江烨沙 got a free kick in the 90th minute. FC Rossoch were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
