Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Putreda CSM's Ferdinand Caragea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Dorin Ştiopul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Putreda CSM's Ferdinand Caragea got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Caragea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurel Cernat having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Caragea in the 16th minute of play forced Tauseni's goalkeeper Aurel Cernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Luca Toader was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tauseni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Putreda CSM the free kick. Lucian Pricop took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurel Cernat. Tauseni's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 18 minutes, Lucian Pricop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Putreda CSM and the Tauseni players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tauseni booed when Putreda CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Pricop didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Dorin Ştiopul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Aurel Cernat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Tauseni's zone, Ferdinand Caragea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurel Cernat came out of the goal and Ferdinand Caragea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorin Ştiopul in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurel Cernat, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aurel Cernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Caragea in the 33rd minute of play. Dorin Ştiopul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Cernat having to interfere. Aurel Cernat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorin Ştiopul in the 39th minute. Tauseni's Aurel Cernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Caragea in the 43rd minute of play. Mihai Vidican charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihai Vidican the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mihai Vidican kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Zafiu to make the kick off. When Ferdinand Caragea came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Putreda CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferdinand Caragea couldn't finish the play. Putreda CSM's Dorin Ştiopul got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tauseni getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Anton Todea hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Caragea in the 62nd minute of play forced Tauseni's goalkeeper Aurel Cernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ferdinand Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dorin Ştiopul came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Putreda CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorin Ştiopul couldn't finish the play. Octav Mercescu charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octav Mercescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tauseni getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Octav Mercescu hit a great ball. If Ferdinand Caragea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorin Ştiopul struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Aurel Cernat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Putreda CSM. In the 89th minute, Lucian Pricop sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tauseni's Aurel Cernat didn't even have to move. Aurel Cernat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Ştiopul in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Putreda CSM's goalkeeper Aron Cristocea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dorin Ştiopul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Ştiopul in the 97th minute of play forced Tauseni's goalkeeper Aurel Cernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Putreda CSM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
