Constantin Constantinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezar Hidiș having to interfere. Liviu Asachi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Cezar Hidiș skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Liviu Asachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cezar Hidiș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Asachi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezar Hidiș saved Georocelul from getting behind. Liviu Asachi might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cezar Hidiș. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Asachi ran back to his position shaking his head. Constantin Constantinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezar Hidiș having to interfere. Dan Ţintea lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Georocelul fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Octav Gorun walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Liviu Asachi came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Martinesti AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Asachi couldn't finish the play. Liviu Asachi struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cezar Hidiș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martinesti AC. Constantin Constantinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezar Hidiș having to interfere. Constantin Constantinescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezar Hidiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Asachi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liviu Asachi in the 46th minute of play forced Georocelul's goalkeeper Cezar Hidiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduard Nițulescu made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Georocelul's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Constantinescu came free, but Cezar Hidiș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Martinesti AC were awarded a corner. Octav Gorun went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Liviu Asachi to score against Cezar Hidiș in Georocelul's goal. 1-0 after 56 minutes. When Eduard Nițulescu came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Georocelul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Nițulescu couldn't finish the play. Cezar Hidiș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liviu Asachi's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Liviu Asachi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cezar Hidiș. Georocelul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liviu Asachi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cezar Hidiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Constantinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Constantin Constantinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezar Hidiș having to interfere. Cezar Hidiș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Asachi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Constantin Constantinescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cezar Hidiș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gavril Stanomir fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martinesti AC's protests and gave Gavril Stanomir a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Martinesti AC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gavril Stanomir hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Georocelul's Cătălin Iorda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 87th minute, Liviu Firu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Nițulescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eduard Nițulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gavril Zorlescu made a huge save. Eduard Nițulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gavril Zorlescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Martinesti AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Georocelul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
