Cezar Calciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebiu Simionaş during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Simbasag AFC booed when Lefaja CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Simionaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simbasag AFC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Lefaja CSM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolae Frumuzache took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nicolae Frumuzache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sergiu Costeiantu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flavius Povară's late challenge caught a Lefaja CSM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavius Povară helped the player get up and apologised. Filip Macovei hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Răzvan Dindelegan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Codrin Simuţ came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Simbasag AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Simuţ couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Valeriu Visarion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simbasag AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lefaja CSM the free kick. Valeriu Visarion kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, one of Simbasag AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ioan Aurelianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Viorel Măgureanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Răzvan Dindelegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viorel Măgureanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ioan Aurelianu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viorel Măgureanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After 43 played minutes Simbasag AFC got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Pantea. In the 46th minute, Ioan Aurelianu made a precise shot to the right of Viorel Măgureanu. Simbasag AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Răzvan Dindelegan made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Aurelianu in the 53rd minute of play forced Simbasag AFC's goalkeeper Viorel Măgureanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Răzvan Dindelegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Măgureanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Dindelegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Simbasag AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Pantea to maneuver through the defense. Lefaja CSM's Răzvan Dindelegan got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Răzvan Dindelegan notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Simbasag AFC's Viorel Măgureanu. Viorel Măgureanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ioan Aurelianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viorel Măgureanu having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Simbasag AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narcis Pantea to maneuver through the defense.
