Matei Nebunu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Aristide having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Talpalai FC's Matei Nebunu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Aristide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabian Buzoianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fabian Buzoianu sped through Cornatel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucian Aristide. If Matei Nebunu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Talpalai FC's Matei Nebunu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucian Aristide. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Fabian Buzoianu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Lucian Aristide made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Matei Nebunu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talpalai FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matei Nebunu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucian Aristide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matei Nebunu made a kick off. The Talpalai FC fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Talpalai FC's Matei Nebunu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristi Drăgoescu charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristi Drăgoescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Cornatel got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Drăgoescu. Lucian Aristide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Buzoianu in the 56th minute of the match. Fabian Buzoianu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Lucian Aristide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matei Nebunu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Talpalai FC's Fabian Buzoianu got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talpalai FC's Dinu Zbârciog proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Talpalai FC from getting a goal against them. Aron Bogatu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute Fabian Buzoianu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Aristide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Matei Nebunu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Cornatel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Pietreanu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 85 minutes, Fabian Buzoianu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talpalai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Buzoianu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Fabian Buzoianu managed to get in a good position for a shot.
