The audience was convinced that Felix Vizitiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milan Weber was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 38th minute Felix Vizitiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milan Weber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Vizitiu in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milan Weber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Cuhea AC's Cristinel Iacobeanu got a free kick in the 45th minute. Iulian Atodiresei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Covaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dragoş Gheție to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Cuhea AC's Dragoş Gheție made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iulian Atodiresei was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute Daniel Covaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Atodiresei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cuhea AC's Milan Weber got control of the ball when Felix Vizitiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Milan Weber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco José Flechart in the 62nd minute of the match. FC Red Bulls Lupeni's Iulian Atodiresei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Gheție in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, FC Red Bulls Lupeni's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Gheție came free, but Iulian Atodiresei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Dragoş Gheție notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of FC Red Bulls Lupeni's Iulian Atodiresei. Iulian Atodiresei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Red Bulls Lupeni eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
