The tension between the Helloween CF and the Aronesti CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Aronesti CSM's zone, Sorin Hârtopanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Hurmuz came out of the goal and Sorin Hârtopanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Aronesti CSM could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Helloween CF throughout the match.
