Ştefan Vintilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Dumitru Aelenei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gheorghe Feteanu in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ştefan Vintilă in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dumitru Aelenei saved Hriteni from getting behind. When Ştefan Bârsan fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hriteni's protests and gave Ştefan Bârsan a yellow card for diving instead. Ştefan Bârsan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Constantin Isaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Constantin Isaia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dumitru Aelenei. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. If Ştefan Vintilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Bîndean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Feteanu in the 81st minute of the match. Hriteni were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Muscani CSS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maxim Voina took the corner. In the 85th minute of the match Hriteni got a corner. Muscani CSS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxim Voina ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dinu Bulcă charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinu Bulcă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Muscani CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Bulcă to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Bîndean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Ştefănoiu in the 94th minute of play.
