Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vintilă Burghelea kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Kadnacs SC defense, Ilie Aurelianu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Chiuzbaian. The Kadnacs SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Chiuzbaian should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute Vintilă Burghelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Panaiteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Panaiteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Burghelea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabin Rada charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabin Rada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Prahova getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sabin Rada hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Burghelea in the 19th minute of play forced FC Prahova's goalkeeper Ilie Panaiteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Rada in the 21st minute of play forced Kadnacs SC's goalkeeper Marian Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Sabin Rada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Chiuzbaian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 25th minute of the match, Eugen Isbășoiu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ilie Panaiteanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dan Cârnu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Chiuzbaian having to interfere. Ilie Panaiteanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marius Manolache. Ionică Cerchez might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilie Panaiteanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ionică Cerchez ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, FC Prahova's goal looked a bit too open when Ionică Cerchez came free, but Ilie Panaiteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Cerchez scored 1-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilie Panaiteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Prahova's Ilie Panaiteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Burghelea in the 41st minute of play. Ilie Aurelianu took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Chiuzbaian. Marian Chiuzbaian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabin Rada made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Ionică Cerchez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilie Panaiteanu. FC Prahova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionică Cerchez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Ştefan Zăreanu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, one of FC Prahova:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Prahova. FC Prahova:s Ilie Panaiteanu showed great skill when he stopped Eugen Isbășoiu:s penalty. Petre Verzeanu charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petre Verzeanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Marcel Grecu came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC Prahova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Grecu couldn't finish the play. Petre Verzeanu made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Prahova's Irinel Pârcălab. In the 73rd minute Vintilă Burghelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Panaiteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kadnacs SC booed when FC Prahova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Aurelianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Prahova's Ilie Aurelianu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ionel Ciorănescu, made in the 77th minute of the game. FC Prahova's Ilie Panaiteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Burghelea in the 81st minute of play. Ilie Panaiteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Isbășoiu in the 89th minute of play. If Eugen Isbășoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kadnacs SC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Eugen Isbășoiu hit a great ball. Eugen Isbășoiu took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilie Panaiteanu. Ilie Panaiteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3.
