Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucrețiu Covaliu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lucrețiu Covaliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gică Curta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. If Dacian Mihai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Melinescu got free with Dan Petrulean in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Mihai in the 18th minute of play forced Budaiu SC's goalkeeper Gică Curta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Gelu Purcaru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gică Curta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pavel Iosif hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Glodghilesti CS were awarded a corner. Gelu Purcaru went to the cornerflag to take it. Gelu Purcaru made a great header on Glodghilesti CS's corner, it was just that Budaiu SC's Gică Curta managed to reach the ball for a save. Lucrețiu Covaliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gică Curta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Lucrețiu Covaliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gică Curta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Budaiu SC's zone, Lucrețiu Covaliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gică Curta came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Covaliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dacian Mihai came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Glodghilesti CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dacian Mihai couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

56 minutes into the match, Glodghilesti CS's Lucrețiu Covaliu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gică Curta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nistor Melinescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dan Petrulean was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Pavel Iosif kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dacian Mihai got free with Gică Curta in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gică Curta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Covaliu in the 84th minute of the match. Budaiu SC's Nistor Melinescu got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Budaiu SC's Pavel Iosif got a free kick in the 88th minute. Dacian Mihai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gică Curta made a huge save. 96 minutes into the match, Glodghilesti CS's Dacian Mihai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gică Curta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Budaiu SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Glodghilesti CS's performance. The match ended with a win for Glodghilesti CS.
