Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Baraitura's Marcu Troncotă started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcu Troncotă took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Elenescu. Adam Elenescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adam Elenescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Troncotă in the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Marcu Troncotă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Gurgueti's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Peter came free, but Adam Elenescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Baraitura booed when Gurgueti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosmin Lăzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gurgueti getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cosmin Lăzan hit a great ball. Gurgueti's Marian Ţintea got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, David Urduban fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sergiu Pâslaru, passed just outside the right post. Marian Ţintea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneliu Piţurcă's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Sergiu Pâslaru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corneliu Piţurcă was the one to do the kick off. Sergiu Pâslaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Marian Ţintea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gurgueti's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Ţintea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Pâslaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihnea Peter came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adam Elenescu could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Baraitura defense, Marian Ţintea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergiu Pâslaru. The Baraitura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergiu Pâslaru should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Corneliu Piţurcă in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergiu Pâslaru saved Baraitura from getting behind. In the 81st minute Marian Ţintea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Pâslaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Răzvan Popoacă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gurgueti's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Popoacă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergiu Pâslaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marian Ţintea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sergiu Pâslaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92nd play minutes Corneliu Piţurcă shot 5-1, a short shot which went by Sergiu Pâslaru and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Baraitura's zone, Corneliu Piţurcă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiu Pâslaru came out of the goal and Corneliu Piţurcă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
