F.C.Laur's Olimpiu Steriopol got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute Niculae Mercescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Daria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Kindler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Hrebenciuc in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Steriopol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Horea Daria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Omurcea FCM's Horea Daria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Steriopol in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Niculae Mercescu made a precise shot to the right of Horea Daria. Omurcea FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sever Cociubei during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes F.C.Laur got a freekick which was hit by Sever Cociubei. If Mădălin Hrebenciuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpiu Steriopol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Daria having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niculae Mercescu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horea Daria prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niculae Mercescu in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Daria saved Omurcea FCM from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Omurcea FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Mercescu came free, but Horea Daria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manole Jurăscu charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manole Jurăscu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manole Jurăscu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Horea Daria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Mercescu in the 46th minute of the match. The Omurcea FCM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C.Laur were winning 0-2.

With his leg Horea Daria managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when F.C.Laur's Niculae Mercescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the last second Horea Daria throw himself and got hold of the ball when Niculae Mercescu in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Niculae Mercescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Horea Daria skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Niculae Mercescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Horea Daria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 67 played minutes F.C.Laur got a freekick which was hit by Doru Coroian. Paul Kindler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toader Burileanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute of the match Manole Jurăscu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Kindler skillfully saved the ball. Omurcea FCM's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Olimpiu Steriopol 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Horea Daria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Mercescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Olimpiu Steriopol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horea Daria was a little too slow when Olimpiu Steriopol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-4. A hard shot 90 in the game by Niculae Mercescu from a close distance when the talented Horea Daria managed to make a qualified save. Omurcea FCM's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Niculae Mercescu took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Horea Daria to make any attempt to save it. F.C.Laur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
