Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Petre Crișan got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot 4 in the game by Niculae Mercescu from a close distance when the talented Dan Bota managed to make a qualified save. Steaua Libera's players were relieved. If Petre Crișan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, Steaua Libera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Crișan to maneuver through the defense. Steaua Libera's Dan Bota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Mercescu in the 15th minute of play. Niculae Mercescu in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dan Bota, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 21 minutes into the match, Steaua Libera's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Mercescu came free, but Dan Bota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezar Rebengiuc during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Steaua Libera getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Edgar Schiau hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niculae Mercescu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Bota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciprian Moldovan during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, F.C.Laur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Moldovan to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, F.C.Laur's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Mihoc came free, but Paul Kindler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Petre Crișan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Kindler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niculae Mercescu to make the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Paul Kindler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paul Kindler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Mihoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Crișan in the 58th minute of play forced F.C.Laur's goalkeeper Paul Kindler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C.Laur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Traian Zub was slow to take the kick. During this time Steaua Libera's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Traian Zub got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paul Kindler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Emilian Mihoc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Paul Kindler made a huge save. The goalkeeper, Paul Kindler, was totally fooled by Steaua Libera's Traian Zub, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Paul Kindler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Crișan in the 76th minute of play. Petre Crișan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Kindler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Paul Kindler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilian Mihoc went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilian Mihoc in the 95th minute of play forced F.C.Laur's goalkeeper Paul Kindler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Steaua Libera booed when F.C.Laur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Negulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
