Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Strimbeni's Bogdan Petru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Iustin Albulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Alexandru Hristea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zam's Eduard Lopatnicu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Strimbeni. Nae Durbac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sebastian Blaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Strimbeni's Vintilă Chitimia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Șerban Manciulescu in the 20th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Iosif Olariu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Strimbeni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zam the free kick. A collision led to Strimbeni getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Iosif Olariu hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bogdan Petru in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Blaga saved Zam from getting behind. If Iustin Albulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vintilă Chitimia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustin Albulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Dănilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vintilă Chitimia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Dănilă in the 46th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Albulescu in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vintilă Chitimia prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iustin Albulescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Iustin Albulescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Iustin Albulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastian Blaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Petru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vintilă Chitimia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Dănilă in the 61st minute of the match. Iustin Albulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iustin Albulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vintilă Chitimia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Strimbeni's Bogdan Petru in the 78th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Sebastian Blaga was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Zam through an amazing save. Iustin Albulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vintilă Chitimia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marian Dănilă might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vintilă Chitimia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marian Dănilă ran back to his position shaking his head. Iustin Albulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Strimbeni's zone, Marian Dănilă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vintilă Chitimia came out of the goal and Marian Dănilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vintilă Chitimia came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Zam's Marian Dănilă. But to his dismay, Marian Dănilă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Șerban Manciulescu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zam's protests and gave Șerban Manciulescu a yellow card for diving instead. Nae Durbac came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sebastian Blaga could save by the left post.
