The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Kosiorek in the 4th minute of play forced Dolea AS's goalkeeper Alin Melentie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, FC G.C.I. BM's Markus Frank nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alin Melentie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Vintilă Turdeanu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Cristi Manu sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, FC G.C.I. BM's goalkeeper Vintilă Turdeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Frânculescu. After 26 minutes of play, FC G.C.I. BM's Wincent Kosiorek made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alin Melentie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Markus Frank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alin Melentie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Liviu in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to Dolea AS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eduard Vârnav hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandu Piţurcă made a kick off. A collision led to Dolea AS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Gigi Claudiescu hit a great ball. When Wincent Kosiorek came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the FC G.C.I. BM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wincent Kosiorek couldn't finish the play. Alin Melentie was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Wincent Kosiorek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wincent Kosiorek really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. With a little luck, Dolea AS's Alin Melentie got control of the ball when Markus Frank tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Wincent Kosiorek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC G.C.I. BM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After 77 minutes of play, Dolea AS's Cristi Manu made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
