Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Micheal Cartwright kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Niculae Babarada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Babarada, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Florin Burdujan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Igor Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Nocrich's Ionică Ilieș got control of the ball when Micheal Cartwright tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radu Macavei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florin Burdujan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Abraão having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C Vaslui's Cornel Trapcea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ionică Ilieș. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. 22 minutes into the match, F.C Vaslui's Cornel Trapcea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionică Ilieș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute of the match F.C Vaslui got a corner. Nocrich's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabin Stroescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sabin Stroescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ionică Ilieș quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Micheal Cartwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ionică Ilieș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Micheal Cartwright in the 24th minute. If Eliodor Pârvulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radu Uduleanu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Nocrich's goalkeeper Ionică Ilieș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micheal Cartwright. 36 minutes into the match, F.C Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Babarada came free, but Igor Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Radu Macavei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nocrich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C Vaslui the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nocrich's Radu Macavei got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 41 minutes, Radu Uduleanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nocrich and the F.C Vaslui players grew even worse after the yellow card. Radu Uduleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Igor Abraão came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nocrich's Florin Burdujan. But to his dismay, Florin Burdujan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 46th minute, Cornel Trapcea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florin Burdujan to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, F.C Vaslui's Sabin Stroescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionică Ilieș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After 55 played minutes Nocrich got a freekick which was hit by Radu Uduleanu. If Cornel Trapcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nocrich's Ionică Ilieș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Pârvulescu in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Nocrich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Burdujan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Florin Burdujan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nocrich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Burdujan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nocrich's Radu Macavei got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornel Trapcea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Ilieș having to interfere. Niculae Babarada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Abraão having to interfere. Eliodor Pârvulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionică Ilieș having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the F.C Vaslui players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
