The supporters of FC Barcelona cfc CLUB booed when Meresti CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horaţiu Darabonț didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Ion Donose ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustinian Lupșe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

56 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona cfc CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Donose came free, but Iustinian Lupșe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Vaştag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Folteas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Corneliu Chirilă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th minute, Teodor Fărcașu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Barcelona cfc CLUB getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Robert Voican hit a great ball. If Horaţiu Vaştag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Corneliu Chirilă made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ion Foltea in the 75th minute. Teodor Fărcașu might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corneliu Chirilă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodor Fărcașu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ion Foltea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Chirilă having to interfere. With 81 minutes on the clock, Victor Ştirbu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 80 minutes into the game, one of Meresti CSM:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 88 minutes, Horaţiu Vaştag managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Barcelona cfc CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horaţiu Vaştag was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Meresti CSM getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sandu Cezar hit a great ball. When Horaţiu Vaştag came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC Barcelona cfc CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horaţiu Vaştag couldn't finish the play. Iustinian Lupșe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Donose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denis Zdroană kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. FC Barcelona cfc CLUB's Iustinian Lupșe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Donose in the 97th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
