Ferdinand Stolnicu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Doloman went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Octavian Stere got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Doloman in the 20th minute of play forced Berbesu CSM's goalkeeper Ferdinand Stolnicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Berbesu CSM's zone, Vali Gordunescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Stolnicu came out of the goal and Vali Gordunescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Denis Doloman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ferdinand Stolnicu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Stere in the 28th minute of play forced Uibaresti AS's goalkeeper Iordache Corbeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gică Gherasescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Aurelian Lupu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eduard Zdrăilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iordache Corbeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavian Stere, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Berbesu CSM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uibaresti AS were winning 1-2.

Denis Doloman charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denis Doloman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Denis Doloman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Doloman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferdinand Stolnicu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Ionel Mahonea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vali Gordunescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vali Gordunescu hit a great ball. Iordache Corbeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Zdrăilă in the 75th minute of play. Vali Gordunescu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berbesu CSM's goalkeeper Ferdinand Stolnicu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Denis Doloman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ferdinand Stolnicu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uibaresti AS. Octavian Stere's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Corbeanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Vali Gordunescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ferdinand Stolnicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Gordunescu in the 94th minute of the match. Uibaresti AS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
