Fabian Bârza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Secară, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Mădălin Secară took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Bârza. Fabian Bârza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Costin Domide notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Grigoresti AC's Eliodor Titulescu. Eliodor Titulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Grigoresti AC booed when A.L.G Pascani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Platon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Grigoresti AC got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Grigore. If Mikolaj Oryniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Bârza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Secară in the 29th minute of the match. When Mădălin Secară fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grigoresti AC's protests and gave Mădălin Secară a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, Grigoresti AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Secară to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Abdelnasser Ben Bella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mădălin Secară was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Bârza was a little too slow when Mădălin Secară got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-3. 61 minutes into the match, A.L.G Pascani's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Gagiu came free, but Fabian Bârza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikolaj Oryniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Titulescu having to interfere. Fabian Bârza made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Dobrinescu in the 64th minute. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Costin Domide sped through Grigoresti AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eliodor Titulescu. After 72 played minutes A.L.G Pascani got a freekick which was hit by Lucrețiu Platon. If Dan Măgherușan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abdelnasser Ben Bella during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, A.L.G Pascani's Fabian Bârza got control of the ball when Mădălin Secară tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 minutes, Costin Domide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.L.G Pascani and the Grigoresti AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costin Domide kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Gelu Bobailă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Grigoresti AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
