The supporters of FC AnaPetre booed when Sokolar UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Ispirescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisc Dragnea took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adam Cutieru. Adam Cutieru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Damian Dordea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Iordache Popescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Dordea in the 22nd minute of play forced FC AnaPetre's goalkeeper Iordache Popescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC AnaPetre getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ionel Durbacă hit a great ball. Damian Dordea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iordache Popescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Sokolar UFC's Adam Cutieru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Sokolar UFC from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes in the game, Francisc Dragnea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adam Cutieru having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Iacob Mărăcuță reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adam Cutieru. The goal made the score 2-1. After 46 played minutes FC AnaPetre got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Purcărete. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Dordea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Dacian Opaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 55 played minutes FC AnaPetre got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Opaina. Dacian Opaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adam Cutieru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC AnaPetre's Francisc Dragnea got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dacian Opaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Adam Cutieru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorel Bogătan kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Sokolar UFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Doru Zgabei in the 76th minute. Doru Zgabei made a great header on Sokolar UFC's corner, it was just that FC AnaPetre's Iordache Popescu managed to reach the ball for a save. Leontin Anghelescu in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Ionel Durbacă was slow to take the kick. During this time FC AnaPetre's players had a chance to rest. FC AnaPetre's Ionel Durbacă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adam Cutieru in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Dragnea in the 92nd minute of play forced Sokolar UFC's goalkeeper Adam Cutieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
