Tilalmos's Costin Surugiu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ionuț Agârbiceanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ionuț Agârbiceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Cezariu in the 9th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Martin Vâtcă took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eugen Mavrogheni to make any attempt to save it. Dinu Cezariu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionuț Agârbiceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play.
